Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Sourcerer: the website, the phone app at /app and the Sourcerer Chrome extension (together, “Sourcerer”). By creating an account or using Sourcerer you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use Sourcerer.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding contract.
• An account is for one person. Don’t share your sign-in or let others use your plan.
• Keep access to your email and Google account secure; you’re responsible for what happens under your account.

Plans and payment

• Card plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account page; your plan then runs to the end of the period you paid for.
• USDC payments buy a month or a year up front and don’t renew. Paying again adds time to the end of what you have.
• Prices are in US dollars and may change. We’ll tell you before a price change affects a renewal.
• Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Daily allowances and fair use

Each plan includes a number of lookups a day, which resets at midnight Pacific time. You agree not to:

• use bots, scripts or other automation to make lookups, or scrape, bulk-download or export product data;
• resell, publish or redistribute data you get from Sourcerer, or build a competing data service with it;
• get around allowances, rate limits or security, or interfere with Sourcerer’s operation.

We may limit or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Product data is a guide, not a guarantee

Prices, sales ranks, offers and other product information come from Amazon listings and third-party data providers, and can be delayed or wrong. Fee calculations, sales estimates and profit figures are estimates from public fee schedules and your own inputs. Check anything important before you buy. Sourcerer isn’t financial, tax or legal advice, and you’re responsible for your buying decisions and for following Amazon’s policies.

The Chrome extension

The extension shows Sourcerer’s product view next to Amazon product pages. What it can access is described in our privacy policy. You can remove it at any time from Chrome.

Ending your account

You can stop using Sourcerer at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms, or if we stop offering Sourcerer; if we end Sourcerer for reasons other than a breach, we’ll refund any prepaid time you haven’t used.

Disclaimers and liability

Sourcerer is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We aren’t liable for lost profits, inventory you bought, or indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it arose.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we’ll tell you by email or on the website before it takes effect; continuing to use Sourcerer after that means you accept the new terms.
